The Orasaku Zukuri Honsanmai Katana is specially hand forged to order in the Yamato Nihonto honsanmai , triple ( 3 different) steels , tradition.  The Yamato Nihonto samurai sword making tradition is considered to be the oldest Japanese forging method. The blade is forged with a hard high carbon premium quality steel core tip , a softer premium steel core sandwiched between a medium premium steel edge that is hand folded with 1024 layer. The Thaitsuki honsanmai forged swords are among the upper echelon of Samurai swords for the discriminating sword collector.  Silver fittings with premium red wine Japanese silk over ivory stingray skin wrapped tsuka round out this stunning katana.
